The 2 sensitivity level Argus SC Security Camera has a dynamic range of -40°F to 392°F. The Argus SC has a similar sensor as our top-of-the-line HR320 fire model, but confines the “sensitivity” to a narrow temperature range, affording better image clarity when used at normal law enforcement temperatures

2 Models / Different Fields of View:

Argus offers two different Security Camera models, each tailored for a different primary use. One has an optical lens with a 50° field of view; the other lens has a 24° field of view. The model with the shorter field of view allows detection at greater distances, so is better at long range surveillance, where it might be used with a tripod. The camera with wider field of view is preferable in dynamic environments where scanning the field of view is necessary. Both models provide additional ability to “zoom in”, with 2X and 4X digital zoom of the optical lens.
